Happy Texas Independence Day
On March 2, 1836, Texas declared its independence from Mexico. The Alamo, which had been under siege since February 23, would fall four days later, but the Republic of Texas would win its independence on April 21, 1836 at the Battle of San Jacinto.

Hawaii, here I come!
I’ll be leaving for Hawaii tomorrow. I can’t wait to return to paradise. My time there will be split between the Big Island (Hawaii) and Oahu. Can’t wait to see a Hawaiian sunset while sipping on a Mai Thai. I leave you with this…
